Our Purpose

Fikr NJ exists to nurture a generation that knows its Lord, loves the Qurʾān, and carries sacred knowledge with humility into every corner of life.

Why Us

We pair authentic, traditional knowledge with a warm, modern environment — so students grow in both ʿilm and akhlāq.

Rooted in scholarship

Our curriculum follows the established Islamic tradition, taught by qualified ʿulamāʾ and ḥuffāẓ.

Tajwīd from day one

Correct, beautiful recitation is the foundation — built carefully from the very first lesson.

Small, caring classes

Every student is known by name, encouraged personally, and paced thoughtfully — never rushed.

For the whole family

Programs for children, youth, and adults — with parents as partners every step of the way.

Support Fikr NJ

Your ṣadaqah keeps the lessons going.

Fikr NJ runs on the generosity of our community — every gift supports teachers, materials, and a welcoming place to learn. Give once or monthly: an ongoing charity (ṣadaqah jāriyah) that earns reward with every word recited.
